7 сентября 2016 года исполняется 290 лет со дня рождения французского шахматиста Франсуа-Андре Даникана Филидора. Ему принадлежит фраза «Пешки – душа шахмат, только они создают атаку и защиту, от их хорошего или плохого расположения целиком зависит победа или поражение».

Название конкурса: "Пешки – душа шахмат"
Задание: #2-N, h#2-N, s#2-N, hs#2-4
Тема: Основа замысла – активная пешечная игра одной или обеих сторон. Приветствуется, но не обязательно: AUW, альбино, пикенинни, аванта, взятие на проходе, эксцельсиор, любое превращение. Сказочные фигуры и условия не разрешены. В зависимости от количества и качества присланных задач, арбитр может разделить присуждение на несколько подсекций или, наоборот, объединить несколько секций в одну.

Срок присылки: до 7 сентября 2016.

At 07-07-2016 we will celebrate 290 years since the birth of the French chess player François-André Danican Philidor. He said: “The Pawns are the soul of chess: it is they alone that determine the attack and the defence, and the winning or losing of the game depends entirely on their good or bad arrangement”.

Tourney name: "The Pawns are the soul of chess"
Stipulation: #2-N, h#2-N, s#2-N, hs#2-4
Theme: The basis of design is active Pawn play of one or both sides. The following themes and ideas are welcome but not required: AUW, Albino, Pickaninny, Avanta, capture “en passant”, Excelsior, any promotion. Fairy pieces and conditions are not allowed. Depending on quantity and quality of sent problems, the arbitrator can divided an award into several subsections or, vice versa, can combine several sections into the one.

Closing date: September 7, 2016
